The white carrot 'Blanche a Collet Vert' (Daucus carota) is an old animal feed and edible heirloom carrot that has already been mentioned around 1870

It grows about 40 cm long and rather slender roots and tends to get slightly green heads. Thus the white carrot from is very similar to the wild carrot in terms of appearance, as the wild specias indeed also has white roots.
The taste of 'Blanche a Collet Vert' is less sweet and very aromatic. Very good storage carrot and ideal for carrot stews
