Sowing & cultivation
Water spinach is a fast-growing climbing plant that can grow up to 3 m long. Sowing is possible all year round indoors. However, a pre-culture at the end of February / beginning of March is recommended. Soak the seeds overnight and then sow in seed soil to a depth of approx. 1 cm and keep warm. Ideal location: Full sun. Germination somewhat hesitant at +20-25°C. After the ice saints, the plants can move outdoors. First harvest after approx. 4-6 weeks.
