Details: Plant description & care
Sowing & cultivation
Dill can be sown from mid-April until into August directly in the field or in pots. Since the plant belongs to the deep-rooting species, you should use correspondingly high pots.
Either sow in rows or scatter broadcast about 0.5 mm deep. Dill needs 2-3 weeks to germinate. Later, the plants should be thinned out and transplanted to a planting distance of 20 cm. Prefers sunny sites with fresh, well drained, moist soils.
