Sowing & cultivation
Sowing is possible in the open field from March onwards: Cover seeds with a layer of 1 cm of soil. When sowing in rows: keep a distance of approx. 20 cm. Loves loose garden soil.
To harvest beautiful, thick stems, the plants need to be earthed up, much like leek, and need a sufficient ripening period of up to 12 months.
